Because of the heavy amount of customers on weekends, we suggest you to make a reservation earlier, especially in cold seasons. It gives you much certainty if you make a reservation a week earlier. We all provide the reservation service for the further month in both online reservation and phone reservation. We also provide the waiting list in store, but you should come to our store in person. The waiting time will depend on the circumstance at that time.

We take the way of a la carte. If you dine in, the soup base (including duck blood and tofu) and rice will be served unlimitedly. The minimum charge is NTD650 per table.

The price for adults:
(Single soup base) If you only choosesingle soup base for your hot pot, the soup base fee is NTD138 per person.
Ex: For two people ordering the hot pot for single soup base, the total amount should be charged NTD138*2+10% service fee.
The basic fee in Northern Taiwan area is NTD150*2+10% service fee.

(Twin-flavors sop base) If you choose twin-flavor soup base for your hot pot, you need to pay NTD180 more for each table excluded the basic fee.
Ex: For three people ordering for twin-flavor soup base, the total amount should be charged NTD138*3+180+10% service fee.
The basic fee in Northern Taiwan area is NTD150*3+180+10% service fee.

The price for kids:
Child rate is charged by height.
*For those who with height under 110 centimeters won’t be charged.
*For those who are above 110 centimeters, we consider them as an adult. Therefore, we’ll charge him/her the same basic soup fee as the adult. Please consider the price which announced in our store.

We have hotpot with spicy stock base, hotpot with pickled cabbage and pork, and hot pot with the original soup included. Guests who are light type of food or bringing children together are recommended to choose the hotpot with pickled cabbage and pork and the hot pot with original soup.

If the birthday boy/girl hold the Tripodking stamp card and demonstrate the related document for certification, we’ll serve you a bottle of Wolfberry Crysanthemum Tea for free.

From now on, we can use the card “Taiwan the heart of Asia” in every store in Taiwan. Feel free to use this card to taste our delicacy.

Yes, we accept credit card payment, and there is no minimum amount limited. By the way, we don’t have cooperation with “Diner’s Club” and “American Express”. Therefore, we don’t accept these two kind of card payment.

We only have the minimum charge for NTD650 per table. There is no minimum limit to the number of guest per table.

The definition to us for outside food is the food which can be put into the hot pot for cooking or the drink which can be drink directly. Also, we’ll charge you for cleaning fee, the way for calculation is NTD100 per serving. If you bring the same type of outside food which also provide the same amount in store or over than we offer, then the calculation will be under the basis of the amount of we provide.(The amount we provide in store is one serving) We’ll still charge cleaning fee for NTD100 per serving. (P.S. Outside drink is included in the area of outside food)

We’ll charge for NTD100 per bottle, but we offer you wine cups, ice, and ice water. We don’t provide red wine glass.

The amount which we calculate for the take-out order is based on the number of the people and the food cost obligated. We won’t charge you for service fee.


Ex: If you order the hot pot in spicy flavor for four people, the soup base fee is NTD750, and the food cost obligated is NTD550. If you order the hot pot for twin-side soup base, the soup base fee will calculate separately depends on the serves of people you want to get in each flavor, and the food cost obligated will be NTD650.

We offer the pickled cabbage flavor and the original flavor. The food material we provided for the vegetarian are the vegetables on our menu and these are all flexitarian. Also, our tableware doesn’t provide the vegan special. Therefore, if guests you are vegan, we recommend you to bring your own ready-to-eat outside food. (not the food material that can be put into our hot pot)

In order to maintain every guest’s dining quality, we’re not allowed guests to take pets (including the pet cage) into our restaurant. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Basically, each table has the dining time limit up to 90 minutes. For the table over than eight guests, the dining time limit can be up to 120 minutes. However, these are under the condition if there are other customer waiting in line. If not, we won’t bother and limit your dining time.

We’ll announce our opening hours for Chinese New Year’s eve and Chinese New Year on posters which will be posted in our stores in davance. Also, you can find these information on our fan page and our website. Feel free to search for it.

To the difference between each person’s body constitution, we suggest you to ask for doctor’s professional advice first.

We used the traditional Chinese medicine which is mixed by the spice and the powder of traditional Chinese medicine such as Chinese prickly ash,Szechuan lovage rhizome, bay leaves, bay laurel, etc. However, to the difference between each person’s body constitution, we still suggest you to ask for doctor’s professional advice first.

Tripodking provide not only hot pot with spicy soup base but also hot meat with pickled cabbage hot pot soup, and the hot pot with original soup. If you’re the light type or you bring your children with you together, we recommend you to order the Meat with pickled cabbage hot pot soup, and the original soup to eat.

We distinguish the price by the height of the children. If his/her height is under 110 centimeters, we won’t charge him/her. If his/her height is above 110 centimeters, we’ll consider him/her as an adult. Therefore, we’ll charge him/her the same basic broth fee as the adult. Please consider the price which announced in the store.

All of our restaurants have children’s tableware and chairs. Some of our restaurants such as Kungyi, Qihsien store have baby diaper station.

We do not recommend to bring the broth and the food material onto the airplane due to the storing problem and the time effect on the taste. However, we suggest you to ask the airline company for the related regulations.
